How to Make Great Savings on a Hotel – The Outdoor Women

You don’t have to shell out an arm and a leg to make great savings on accommodation. There are so many different ways you can bag yourself a cheap hotel stay, without having to do very much at all – and we’re going to show you how.

Book Direct

Never book through a hotel booking website, if you don’t have to. A hotel has to pay a percentage of the booking fee to the website, meaning you will pay more for your room. To save yourself some money, book accommodation directly via the hotel – as they will often provide you with the best rate.

Browse Social Media

Some websites can provide fantastic deals via social media. Take 30 James Street – Home of the Titanic as an example. The Liverpool wedding hotel often provides superb offers that exclusive only to their followers – so you can use the savings on your trip.

Look for Discount Codes

You might be surprised to find a few discount codes online for hotel stays. If you plan on booking a stay at a chain hotel, we recommend searching for any promotion codes on discount code websites. You never know, you could soon save a significant percentage on a booking.

Check Bank Offers

Banks have introduced various company offers for their customers. For example, Lloyds bank has introduced Everyday Offers, which allows them to partner with companies to offer their customers a percentage of a stay, which they will receive back into their count after they’ve made the payment. So, whilst you will pay full price to the hotel provider, you will soon receive a 5% or even 15% of the fee back into your account a month or so later.

Sign Up to a Newsletter

By signing up to a hotel’s newsletter, all their latest news and deals will be sent to your email address every week or month. All you have to do is log in and see if there are any bargain stays to be had, before taking them up on their offer.
