Essential Part of the Golfing Experience – The Outdoor Women

Club cars are an essential part of the golfing experience. They make it easy to get from place to place without using all of your energy walking, especially when you hit a drive that sent the ball far into the rough. However, to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the course, there are a few rules that need to be followed.

1. Make sure the cart is properly maintained.
If the cart isn’t responding properly, switch to another one. The cart should brake immediately and respond to your steering with ease. If it doesn’t, you may not be able to maintain control of the vehicle should something happen later. Club car accessories can be found within the fleet bay where you can inspect the tire pressure level and other important attributes of the vehicle.

2. Maintain a safe speed.
Although club carts can’t reach the same level of speed as more powerful motor vehicles, they go fast enough to cause injury to anyone who is hit. In addition, falling from them at speed puts you at risk of serious injury. Ensure that you drive at a reasonable speed, especially in areas where other people are around. If the terrain is difficult, slow down to maintain the tire’s grip on the ground.

3. Never drive on the roadway.
A golf cart should never be operated on an official highway. While it isn’t illegal, they lack the maneuverability and speed to get out of the way of larger vehicles. They’re also less visible due to their smaller profile, which puts the drivers and passengers at risk of collision with much larger vehicles. If you must cross a highway, do so when there is no other traffic.

4. Never operate a golf cart while intoxicated.
Even though alcohol is often served at the country club, golf carts still qualify as motor vehicles. You can be given a DUI for operating one while under the influence of alcohol. If you’re unable to drive the golf cart, find someone who is willing to drive you from hole to hole. Police are often found on the courses, and you can be sure they’ll ticket you.

Golf carts make golfing a more fun experience, but it’s important to be safe while playing. Follow these four safety rules to ensure a good experience for everyone involved.
